New 'wild' swimming book features us
A new book on the wonders of 'wild' swimming in the South East of England is just out by Natasha Sones and features the Selsey Sea Bathing Society amongst it's write up on Selsey. We say goodbye to Betty
We wanted to honour one of our early members, Betty Chatfield, who peacefully passed away in February at her home in Midhurst, West Sussex. Betty, mother of Yvette, pictured here together on our London Lido's day trip, was a truly wonderful, gentle, joyful lady. We learned more about Betty and her life at her funeral, about her love (and expertise) as an avid swimmer, and also walker, as well as being mother to 4 girls.
