Swim-swap: Surrey Outdoor Swimmers are coming to Selsey!

This is one of the ideas that came from our Brainstorm On The Beach last year during lockdown - to swim-swap with another club/society. As it turns out, we've had a few visits since last year from one of Surrey Outdoor Swimmers' lovely members, Michelle (who's very hardy in cold water!), and then a few weeks ago as I was walking alongisde the Thames, a few ladies swam past with their Surrey Outdoor Swimming hats on, so I beckoned them over to discuss the idea and they loved it! So Michelle is kindly organising for them to come down to Selsey to dip with us. This will be our first swim swap and we're delighted it's with Surrey Outdoor Swimmers. We then have a reciprocal dip up in the Thames with them on 3rd July, so get organising your car pooling soon!  All are welcome to join this event - the more the merrier and let's make our guests, who will be travelling well over an hour to visit us, also very welcome. Very exciting! Location will be on East Beach at the end of James St, Selsey, postcode PO20 0JG.  It means our visitors can order sandwiches or coffees from Potters and see the Lifeboat Station, too. Avril has kindly offered to bring menus should anyone wish to order from Potters on the day. As there are around 24 of the SOS coming, please could you try wherever possible to walk or cycle to the location to leave as much car parking for our guests there as possible - thank you SO much.
