In July we begin to relax into summer. The evenings are long and the sea sparkles all day long. This Sunday, bring a picnic and hang out together after our dip if you'd like to, bringing friends and family if you like, too.

About the event
July was named to honour Julius Ceasar as it's his birth month. Once it was called Hay monath by the Anglo Saxons, as this was haymaking time. Look out for Rosebay Willowherb, Poppy, Thistle, Red Campion, foraged by bees this month for this summer's honey. For this month's gathering, to tie in with the tide we thought a picnic on the beach would be just the thing. So roll out your blankets and unpack your hampers for a fun few hours together.
