SSBS On Tour!
We're off again to the Thames for those who fancy an adventure! This time to Laleham for a different kind of dip and as always, it promises to be fun amongst folk from our wider network of fellow outdoor swimmers.

About the event
Our second swim club swap leaving the peninsula, this time with 2 other outdoor swimming societies, Surrey Outdoor Swimmers and a group from Broadstairs. Whoever would like to come is very welcome - whether you leave from Selsey or further afield. We'll help arrange car pooling this week for those who want it (this process has already begun). The Thames temperatures will be getting cooler by then (and are usually a bit cooler than the sea, but not necessarily so) so suggest you have swim socks, hat/woolly or otherwise and gloves to help keep you warm. You'll also need a swim float which is just for safety really. You can buy these easily online for a few pounds. To that, you could add a wetsuit or a rash vest. Bring something hot to drink afterwards, as well as warm dry clothes and perhaps something dry to put your wet costume/kit in. Just get in touch on the whatsapp group on via the website if you want to come but are worried about any of this, as we can easily help and talk you through it. Swimming in the Thames is a wonderful, exciting experience which I recommend!
