SSBS Big Welsh Swim Tour

Justine went to swim in mountain lakes in Snowdonia in July 2023 and found it magnificent!  Whilst there she noticed a swim event going on called The Big Welsh Swim, with varying distances to sign up for and thought it would be a great trip to organise for SSBS and something for some of you to aim for, if that's what floats your boat for 2023 - a swim challenge (plus the option to climb Snowdon!)  To enter the swim you need to book your place as soon as possible here for the distance you want to enter: http://loveswimrun.co.uk/thebigwelshswim/. Once we know who's coming, we'll then work out who wants to do what and you can get as little or as much involved as you like. Justine found a lovely B&B option in the centre of Llanberris where the owner will also guide us up Snowdonia (no charge) if we book 5 of their rooms, so that's one option. She also did some wonderful lake swimming experiences with outdoor swimming coach Vivienne Rickman see: https://www.viviennerickman.co.uk/ and another idea would be to book her for the day to take us to various secret lakes in Snowdonia and split the cost.  RSVP/sign up for the Big Welsh Swim if you are interested and we'll go from there.
