Whether you're a royalist or not, this weekend seems like a good excuse to celebrate the coronation. Please note this month it's Sunday for that reason.

About the event
King Charles' coronation takes place on Sat 6th May, so we thought we'd host the gathering this month on a Sunday for a change and in case anyone is busy watching the TV or off up to London. May brings out the pagan in us as we celebrate May Day on the 1st, when rich traditions of hobby horses and flower-crowned maidens. Fresh green leaves and white blossom break out everywhere you look, in this irrisistable month of May.
This time we gather on West Beach (wind permitting), which is at the end of West Street and the long beach looking towards Portsmouth (for those who haven't been there). May is a wonderful, uplifting time of year, so this promises to be an even more wonderful gathering.
