About the event
Equinox means “equal night”, one of two days in the year where we have 12 hours daylight and 12 of dark. It's significant as for the next six months there will be more dark than light every day. That affects all life, plants, water creatures, air creatures, land creatures, and animals including us. Come along for an hour or so to have a dip in the sea and rejoice at this change in seasons and time and light. The point of Equinox will be at 7.19pm. Sunset is 7pm, so we'll bathe in the dusk light and likely finish in the dark.
