A recreation of Fish Friday in Barbados, where folk travel all across the island to a little village where they grill fresh fish on barrel bbq's & crack open a shore-side beer!

About the event
2022 was the year we got into the mackerel run, so the idea of a Selsey Pop-Up Mackerel Festival was born! There's a few fishermen/women between us who will hopefully agree to catch the fish, we'll find a spot to pitch up a barrel bbq, llight the coals, crack open the beers and wine and grill the fish fresh out of the sea. We'll ask everyone for a donation for their food and drinks and the profits will go to a charity of our choice (the mackeral foundation..;). Details will be formulated nearer the time and of course, dates TBA according to when the mackerel start arriving onto our shores.
