About the event
On our trip to Brighton in 2019 it came to light that one of the sea bathers, Mary, who's lived in Selsey all her life, is an incredibly talented crafter! She organises little crafting days for her family and because it's so good, she has to stop the flood of enquiries to join! So I'm honoured to say she's going to run a session for us! No experience is required and Mary will kindly bring all the items we need to build little driftwood boats such as the one you see in the picture. Saying that, if you find a little piece of driftwood on the beach you want to use for your boat, please bring that. Ralph has been busy gathering bits of driftwood for us all too. Mary will be using little pieces of material left over from her lovely mum's days of craft making. She passed away last year, so our session will be in honour of Mary's mum. The session will last approximately 2 hrs and you'll have a little driftwood boat to take home with you. Bathe For The Brave for those who want to in the morning as the tide times don't work well enough to make the sessions back-to-back. You must RSVP to attend this one so we know numbers. Max is 12 for this due to room size.
